a paper system, not a planner to keep up with.
BUSEE is designed to do three things: get it out of your head. decide what matters. finish it.
everything starts on to do.
Do not organise your brain while it is still in your brain. Write it down first. Then mark it: ★ this matters · ! a real deadline · when? — now, friday, november, q1, 2027. Or leave it blank. Blank does not mean forgotten. It means: not now.

choose the big 3.
The same principle at every level: month → big 3, week → big 3, today → big 3. If everything matters, nothing does. Choose the three things that would make the biggest difference. Everything else waits its turn.

catch yourself hiding.
Sometimes the task you most need to do is the one your brain becomes very creative about avoiding. The one i’m avoiding asks three questions: what am I avoiding, what am I actually afraid might happen, and what is the smallest thing I can do to make contact with it? Avoided it twice? Give it ten minutes before anything else.

move open loops out of your head.
Waiting for a reply? Delegated something? Put it on waiting on. Someone else is doing the work — they own the task, you still own the outcome. Review the page once a week. Late? Chase it. Nicely.

projects get their own page.
“Send supplier email” is a task. “Launch new collection” is a project. Anything with multiple actions, dependencies, important dates, risks or decisions gets a project page — and stays off your everyday to do until the next action actually needs doing.

review it like a ceo.
Start of month: the month big 3. Start of week: review to do and waiting on, choose the week big 3. Each morning: today’s big 3. End of day: done? tick it. Still relevant? move it. Not worth doing? drop it. End of week: reset.

there is no perfect way to use busee.
There is only one rule: the system should reduce the amount of thinking required to run your life. If it creates more work, simplify it. You do not need to use every page — print what helps, ignore what doesn’t.
